One person is dead after a fatal shooting in West Pullman on Friday evening.

The 29-year-old man was standing on the sidewalk near 11900 S. Michigan Ave. when an SUV approached him, according to Chicago police. At least one person got out of the car and shot the man multiple times on his body and face around 5:14 p.m. He was pronounced dead at Roseland Hospital, according to police.

A 70-year-old man, who was standing nearby on the sidewalk, was also injured in the June 19 incident. The bystander was shot in the leg and is in stable condition at Christ Hospital.
