A pedestrian was seriously injured Wednesday night in an hit-and-run accident downtown on DuSable Lake Shore Drive, Chicago police said.
About 11:40 p.m., the victim was walking east in the 100 block of South DuSable Lake Shore Drive when a black vehicle disregarded a traffic signal and traffic lane markings striking him, police said.
The pedestrian was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital where he was listed in serious condition. The black vehicle fled the scene.
Detectives are investigating.
