Antonella Marie Luebbert OBITUARY

Antonella Marie “Nell” Luebbert (née Aschoff), age 91, a resident of Villa St. Benedict in Lisle, IL since 2023, formerly of Naperville, IL, passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at her home. She was born on May 19, 1934, in West Point, NE to Ernest and Hilda (née Kluthe) Aschoff.

Nell was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Marvin C. Luebbert, whom she married August 30, 1958, and a sister, LaVera Burenheide. She was the loving mother of Kathryn (Randy) Odem of St. Louis, MO and Deborah (Bob) Frei of Winnetka, IL. Dear grandmother of Nicholas (Kate) Odem, Brian Odem and Matthew (Rebecca “Becca” Knezek) Odem; Lauren (Brandon Dybalski) Frei, Kaitlin Frei, and Cammy Frei. Great-grandmother to Lydia, Claire, Abby, and Nathan. Fond sister of Jerry (Betty) Aschoff and Tom (Diane) Aschoff.

Nell worked as a registered nurse for almost 30 years at Edward Hospital in Naperville and Elmhurst Hospital in Elmhurst, IL. She volunteered at St. Patrick’s Residence in Naperville in the medical department for over 18 years. Nell was a member of Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Naperville. She enjoyed golfing, playing bridge and traveling with her husband, Marvin.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, 10:00-11:00 AM in the Sacred Heart Monastery Chapel at Villa St. Benedict, 1920 Maple Ave., Lisle, IL 60532.

A Mass of Christian Burial will follow Tuesday, 11:00 AM in the Sacred Heart Monastery Chapel.

Interment will follow at SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery in Naperville, IL
