Arlene Carole Mayer, nee Chika, 87, of Bartlett, formerly of South Barrington. Beloved wife of the late William John Mayer, Sr. for 69 years. Devoted mother of William (Laura) Mayer, Robert (Andree) Mayer, Dawn Mayer, Sharon (Walt) Kangail and Lisa (Robert) Coyne. Dear grandmother of Kurt (Aneta) Mayer, Kyle (Ariel) Mayer, Nicholas (Nichole) Mayer, Ryan (Ryah) Mayer, Annaliese (Tom) DeCoste, Stephanie Kangail, Daniel Kangail, Samantha (Erica) Ede, Michael Coyne and Robert Coyne. Dear great grandmother of Stella Mayer, Scarlette Mayer, Grant Mayer and McKinleigh DeCoste. Loving daughter of the late Alice and John Chika.

She will lie in state Monday from 9:00 AM until the time of the funeral mass at 11:00 AM at Holy Family Catholic Community, 2515 West Palatine Road, Inverness, IL.
