Brian Lee Vickrey, age 63, a resident of Naperville since 2000, passed away peacefully on June 17, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. He was born on January 8, 1963 in Princeton, IL. Brian is survived by his best friend and devoted wife of 40 years, Jayne; his children, Nicole (Jamie) Cook of Kempton, IL and Brandon (Emily Stein) Vickrey of Lombard, IL; his wonderful grandchildren, Parker Cook and Micah Cook; his dear mother, Sandra “Sandy” Vickrey; his siblings, Sheila (Clark) Blair, Susan (Kirk) Fristad, Sarah (Dan) Titlow, and Doug (Jennifer) Vickrey, and siblings-in-law, Ian (Melanie) Halley and Stuart (Marilyn) Halley; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and great friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Gordon Lee Vickrey; his parents-in-law, Sylvia and Geoffrey Halley; his nephews, Derek and Graham Halley. Brian was born and raised in Kewanee, IL to a large, loving family. He attended college at Illinois State University where he started dating his future wife, Jayne. He then went on to work at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Mergers and Acquisitions then becoming a PwC partner. This career allowed him to live comfortably while pursuing what truly mattered to him, his family and his faith. He raised two wonderful children who he was very proud of and spent his retirement years contributing his time to St. Timothy Church, acting as treasurer. Above all else, Brian was truly a man of God. Everything he did was in service of his faith and other people. He will be remembered as an amazing husband, father, friend, and follower of Christ. Service will be held Thursday, July 30th at 5:00 PM at St. Timothy Lutheran Church, 1313 North Mill St., Naperville. For those who would like to leave a lasting tribute to Brian’s life, memorial donations may be directed to the St. Timothy Lutheran Church Endowment Fund in Naperville.
