LORENZETTICarlo Peter Lorenzetti Sr. age 79. Owner of Carlo’s, Gourmet Pizza and Livio’s Restaurants passed away peacefully on February 14th with his family at his side. The longtime Roseland and south suburban resident was a US Army Veteran of the Korean War and had begun his restaurant career in 1955 with the Harbor Light Restaurant in Chicago’s Roseland neighborhood. Husband of Dolores nee Reiniche; father of Lynn (Dale Ebert) Laas, Carla, Carlo “Buddy” (Sue), Thomas and James Lorenzetti and Mike (Susan) Bass; grandfather of Billy (Amanda Beers) and John Lass, Julie (Derek) Nappi, Stephanie and Thomas Lorenzetti, Julie and the late Connie Bass; great-grandfather of Alivia and Ava Laas and Angelina Nappi; brother of Josephine (late Edward) McGee and Peter (Karen) Lorenzetti. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W. 14th St. (US Rt. 30, 3 blks E. of Western Ave.) Chicago Heights on Thursday February 18th from 12 Noon until 9:00 PM. Funeral Friday 9:15 AM to Infant Jesus of Prague Church, Flossmoor. Mass 10:00 AM. Cremation private.
