Daniel P. Hourihane OBITUARY

Daniel Hourihane, 84, of Prospect Heights, passed away on May 9, 2026. He was the beloved husband of Linda; loving father and stepfather of Paul (Meaghan), Steve (Jen) Hourihane, Pam Baly, Sue (Chuck) Sipko, Leanna (Karl) Miehlich, and Debbie (Jason) Baldauf; and was preceded in death by his first wife, Connie. He was a proud grandfather of CJ, Nicole, Katie, Elizabeth, Emily, Brady, Penelope and William. Daniel was the brother of the late John Hourihane (Sylvia) and Michael Hourihane (Jan). He was a beloved uncle and friend to many. He was an Army veteran and will be remembered fondly for his love of golf and the Cubs. Visitation will be held at Friedrichs Funeral Home, 320 W. Central Road at Northwest Highway, Mount Prospect, IL 60056, on Monday, May 18, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 19, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Emily’s, 1400 E.
