Dr. Dave J. Rubenstein, 95, passed away peacefully surrounded by those he loved. Devoted husband of the late Vivian (née Shapiro), with whom he shared 70 cherished years of marriage. He is survived by his loving children, Cyrene, Gary (Mia), Debra; and granddaughter, Golda. Born in Chicago to the late William and Minnie (née Cohen); he was also preceded in death by his brother, Arnold (the late Henrietta). He is fondly remembered by his sisters-in-law Sherie (the late Dr. Alan) Shapiro and Judy (the late Robert) Ellis. He was a respected podiatrist and dedicated educator for more than 50 years, Dave left an enduring mark on both his patients and his profession. He possessed a great love of travel and delighted family and friends alike with vivid stories from his many journeys around the world alongside Vivian. Graveside services were Tuesday, May 5 at 12:00PM, Westlawn Cemetery, 7801 W Montrose Ave, Norridge in Carnation Section.
