Dr. Frederick A. Reis, PhD OBITUARY
Dr. Frederick A. Reis passed away peacefully at home in Chicago on July 15, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
Fred was the devoted husband of Margot (née Larsen) for 64 years; the proud father of Whitney and Heather; cherished father-in-law to Peter; and beloved “Gramps” to Blake, Brett, Preston, .Parker and Hayden.
A respected psychologist, Fred was admired for his intelligence, integrity, and kindness. He especially loved spending time at Bonita Bay, Florida, enjoying golf, tennis, fitness, and the company of friends.
The family gratefully acknowledges the compassionate care provided by Northwestern Hospital, Amada Healthcare, and Unity Hospice.
Private family services will be held.

I’m so sorry to hear of your passing. I said a prayer for you knowing full well that you are in heaven with the rest of our family.
