Evan Lawrence OBITUARY

Evan C. “Bud” Lawrence, 90, a resident of Grayslake, IL, passed away May 26, 2026 at his home. He was born September 11, 1935 in Grayslake, IL to Evan and Bernice Lawrence. Bud was an athlete in his youth and enjoyed coaching youth basketball and softball. He enjoyed square dancing, camping, gardening, and mowing his lawn. Bud was a builder, farmer, and electrician. He loved Arizona and spent more than 20 years snow-birding in Apache Junction. Bud is survived by his daughters Pamela (Tom) Spychala, Teri McKnight, and Karin (Mike) Johnson, his grandchildren Kaitlyn (Alex) Rinaldi, Jordan (Heather) Spychala, Taylor (Kyle) Davis, Laine (Tim) Brodzik, Sydne Johnson and Rylee Johnson, his 11 great-grandchildren, and his brother Robert Lawrence. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sons David and Michael Lawrence, his wife Patricia Lawrence, his granddaughter McKenna Johnson, and his 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
