Frank F. Cappitelli, 41, B.A., USMC, Veteran of the Afghanistan War.
It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Frank. He was the cherished son of Mary Kay (Philbin) and the late Frank J.; dear brother of Katherine and Colleen; beloved nephew and cousin of many. Frank’s loss is deeply felt by all who loved him. We will remember him with gratitude for the joy, laughter, and love he brought into our lives. His loss leaves an immeasurable void. In lieu of flowers donations made be made in Frank’s name to The Headstrong Project, a non-profit organization providing mental health treatment to our veterans. Visitation will be Sunday, June 14, 2026, from 4:00-8:00 PM at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 6150 N. Cicero Ave., Chicago.
