Gerald Glen Olsen OBITUARY

Jerry “Ole” Olsen, 83, formerly of Naperville, passed away on June 24, 2026 in Tarpon Springs, Florida.

After graduating from Naperville Central High School in 1961, Jerry founded Jerdan Electric and was a proud member of IBEW 701 for 60 years.

Jerry was preceded in death by his beloved wife Judy and his parents Harold and Virginia. Jerry is lovingly remembered by his children, Tod Olsen (Denise), Troy Olsen, and Kirsten Olsen Fahey (Tim);his brother, Ron Olsen; his sister, Diane Olsen Mazza; his nephew, Shawn Mazza (Jessica); and his niece, Lisa Mazza Childs (Troy). He was the proud grandfather of Kayla, Brenden, Madelen, and Jaxson, and the beloved great-grandfather—known affectionately as “Grand Poohbah”—to Bentley James and Brooklyn Elizabeth.
