Gloria Reifler (nee Mashkes) passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 12th at the age of 86. Gloria was the wife of Richard for 53 years, mother to Larry, grandmother to Jake and Joelle and sister to the late Michael Mashkes. Gloria loved children and was a Chicago Public School teacher, teaching 1st and 2nd grade at Yates Elementary for several years. She later became a volunteer in the emergency room at Children’s Memorial Hospital. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Temple Sholom of Chicago in her honor.
