Joan Stupar, age 94 of Waukegan, IL passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2026. She was married to her late husband, Joseph Stupar (2004) for 51 years. Joan loved volunteering, reading, knitting, and puzzles.

She is survived by her children, Diane (James) Waldow, Kathy Govekar, and Jeff (Casey) Stupar; her daughter-in-law’s, Kathy and Mary; her grandchildren, Danielle (Josh) Bishop, Odin Crespo, Joseph (Gwyn) Stupar, Ryan (Natalie) Crespo, Michael Stupar, Tony (Carey) Stupar, Jessica (Anthony) Cutler, Daniel (Jackie) Stupar, Christopher (Ali) Stupar, Mary Stupar, Jonathan Stupar, and 12 great grandchildren. In addition to her husband Joseph Stupar; Joan was preceded in death by her sons, Joe, Tony and Frank Stupar.

Visitation for Joan will take place on Saturday, June 13, 2026, from 2pm to 5pm at the Gurnee Salata Funeral Home, 4190 Old Grand Ave. Gurnee, IL 60031. Interment will be private.
