June Ellen Groppi OBITUARY

June Ellen Groppi, née Dargart, passed away at the age of 75 with her husband of more than 50 years, Michael, by her side. June Ellen was a resident of Hinsdale, Illinois. She was the beloved wife of Michael J. Groppi and the cherished daughter of the late William and June Groppi. June Ellen was also the dear sister of the late Robert Dargart.

June Ellen wanted to help others and volunteered at the Wellness House in Hinsdale as well as St. John of the Cross Parish and St. Josephs School. She loved art, good food, great wine and traveling the world to learn about other cultures.

June will be dearly missed by her loving husband and many friends, especially her colleagues at the Art Institute of Chicago, St. Joseph School in Downers Grove and St. John of the Cross in Western Springs.

Visitation Thursday, June 25th, 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Sullivan Funeral Home, 60 South Grant Street, Hinsdale. Funeral Friday, June 26tth, family, and friends to meet for a 11:00 AM Funeral Mass at St. John of the Cross Church. Private family interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
