The family of Kathleen (Kathy) Rauter, née Reddington, is deeply saddened to announce her peaceful passing on May 28, 2026, at the age of 80. Kathleen was from Mokena, formerly Homer Glen (47 years), and born in Chicago. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 54 years, Kenneth Rauter, her parents Harold and Mary (née Trendl) Reddington, her brother Mickey Reddington and sister Marilyn Schultz. Loving mother of Kimberly (Bob) Murphy, dear sister of Patricia Sieloff, Thomas (Karen) Reddington, Stanley (Donna) Kasper and Tom (Gil) Korun, sister-in-law of John Schultz and Linda Reddington, beloved Aunt, Godmother, Cousin & friend to many.

Family will receive friends for a Memorial Visitation at Kurtz Memorial Chapel 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL. 60423 on Saturday June 13, 2026, from 11am to 3pm (Memorial Service at 2:00pm). Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the www.Parkinson.org or www.lungcancerresearchfoundation.org.
