Linda Passentino Catherine Bowman OBITUARY

Linda Catherine Bowman of Westfield, IN, 77, passed away peacefully at home on May 15, 2026.

Born on October 29, 1948, in Chicago, IL, Linda lived a life marked by kindness, acceptance, faith, joy, adventure and love. She attended Fenton High School in Bensenville, IL, Patricia Stevens Career College and obtained a BA degree from IU. She went on to a career with the USPS. She held an IN State Realtor’s License and also worked as a manager at Lazarus. She renovated the Kalbfleisch Sanitarium, which was made into an apartment building in Peru, IN. She modeled and acted and also enjoyed painting, jewelry making, traveling, belly dancing, swimming with the Water Babes and flower arranging. She made the perfect gingerbread cookies. Linda found great joy in her church and family and was a deeply loyal friend to many.

Linda is survived by daughter Debbie Virgin Shook (Jonathan), grandson Mason, sister Gail Holt (Lucky), nephew Michael and former spouse Patrick Bowman. She was preceded in death by parents Michael Passentino & Irma Passentino & former spouse Stephen Virgin.
