Louis Klakk OBITUARY

Louis Klakk, 92, of Aurora, IL, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 12, 2026. Louis was born in Hungary on August 8, 1933. In his younger years, Louis was a member of the Hungarian Army. He fought with the Freedom Fighters during the 1956 Hungarian Revolution against the Soviet occupation. At the age of 22, Louis moved to the United States where he made his home in Aurora, IL where he was a member of the Aurora Kickers Soccer Team. Louis was a man of his word who always told the truth. He had helped his friend build a cabin in Wisconsin by offering his electrician’s skills. Once the work was done, he enjoyed spending weekends in Wisconsin with his friend. Louis also enjoyed gardening and kept a magnificent garden at his home in Aurora. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings. Louis will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Family will be receiving guests on Friday, July 17, 2026 from 11:00am until time of service at 12:30pm at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 South Broadway, Montgomery, IL 60538. Burial will immediately follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 278 Ashland Avenue, Aurora, IL 60505.
