Margery A. Cosgrove (nee Parker), age 97, of LaGrange Park, formerly of Western Springs, passed away on June 26, 2026. Beloved wife of the late Robert A. Cosgrove. Devoted mother of Daniel (Lisa), Terence (Robin) and Robert (Kathleen). Cherished grandmother of Patrick (Allison), Katherine (Alex) Florea, John (Sarah) and Erin. Dear great-grandmother of Gwen and Charlie. Loving sister of the late Thomas (Julane) Parker. Fond sister-in-law of the late Jack (late Mary Jane) Cosgrove and the late Daniel Jerome (late Sandra) Cosgrove. Margery was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Goldie Parker. Margery was a respected quilt maker and painter who spent several years as an art teacher. She was a proud and active member of St. John of the Cross parish, where she found community in praying the rosary. Family and friends to gather for visitation on Thursday, July 23rd from 10am until time of 11am Mass at St. John of the Cross Church, 5005 S. Wolf Rd., Western Springs. Interment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to to the Mercy Home for Boys & Girls.
