Marlene Samson (née Shugan), 82.

Loving mother of Rachel Samson and the late Jeremy Samson. Beloved sister of Bill Shugan and the late Murray Shugan, and cherished by her adoring cousins. She is also survived by her former husband, Edward Samson.  Growing up in Chicago’s South Shore Marlene was an active member of the Jewish Community, and maintained that faith through her years in Glencoe, as a member of Congregation Solel. Marlene took great pride in her career as a realtor, building lasting relationships with clients who became dear friends. Known for her knack for design she went above and beyond to make sure every last detail was perfect.  In recent years, Marlene especially treasured time spent traveling with her daughter, cruising and savoring cuisine around the world.
