Patrick William Kelley, 68, of Chicago, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family, on May 16, 2026, after a long illness. Born on December 27, 1957, Patrick grew up in Kenilworth, Illinois, and was a 1976 graduate of New Trier High School. He then graduated in 1980 from Ohio University in Athens. He earned a decades-long, distinguished broadcast radio career across a variety of formats. He was especially proud of his years at WNUA Smooth Jazz in Chicago. A man of deep faith, kindness, and humor, Patrick was a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend. Patrick’s favorite things were Chicago sports teams, playing golf, and above all, spending time with his girls. He is survived by his wife, Donna, and daughters, Ava and Grace. He also leaves behind siblings Kathy Monty, of Ft. Collins, Colorado, Frank, Kevin, Sean, Megan McClellan, all of Denver, and numerous extended family members. His parents, Frank and Nancy, and his sister, Maureen, preceded him in death. Patrick will be remembered at a private service.
