Peter W. Timmers, USMC, age 92. Beloved husband of the late Rose C., nee Kasting. Loving father of the late Stephen Sr. (Colleen Casteel) Timmers, Eileen (Oscar) Velez, Kate (the late Augie Zymantas) Timmers, and Mary (Theo) Simon. Dear grandfather of Stephen Jr. (Cassy), Daniel (Alicia), Michael (Sarah), Matthew (Fran), Peter, Luisa (Noah) Das, Patrick, Erin (fiancé Dalton), and John. Great-grandfather of Mikey, Annie, McKinleigh, Ryan, Jackson, Fiona, Olivia, Addison and Patrick. Survived by his sisters Rose and Shirley. Loving uncle and friend of many. Monday, May 18th, visitation from 8:00AM to 9:30AM at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 6150 N Cicero Avenue, Chicago, processing to Queen of All Saints Basilica, 6280 N Sauganash Ave, Chicago, for a funeral Mass at 10am.
