Phyllis Radek Diane O’NEILL OBITUARY

Phyllis, aged 84, passed away on May 18, 2026 in the comfort of her home surrounded by loved ones near and far. Born on Jan. 11, 1942 to Stanley and Millie Radek, she grew up and went to school in Chicago. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband Phillip to whom she was married for 57 years. She is survived by her sister Catherine Headley, her five daughters Lauri Schumacher (Craig), Cheri Eganhouse, Jeannie Varenne (Geoffroy), Jacki Ley (Kevin), Kristen Flood (Gary), her 14 grandchildren and one great granddaughter. She was a well loved preschool teacher in Mt. Prospect where she lived before moving to Huntley, IL in 2018. She will be missed by many. A Celebration of Life will be held on August 8th in Huntley.
