Richard Patrick Levins, 60, of Chicago, Il, passed away peacefully on May 18, 2026, surrounded by his family.

Born June 18, 1965, to Terrence and Catherine Levins, Richard was a devoted son, brother, uncle, companion, and friend. He was widely known for his generous heart, his deep love of family, his passion for music, and his fondness for dogs. He spent his life bringing laughter to those around him and actively serving his community through his parish.

He is survived by his longtime companion, Lisa Warner; his siblings Frank (Liz) Levins and their children Catherine (Grant), Tara, and Francis; Philip and his children Ryan and Ashley; Mary (Michael) Fisher and their children Michael Jr., Denise (Preston), Amanda (Avery), Christopher, Terrence, and Matthew; Patrick (Sally) Levins and their children Madeline (Michael), Kathleen (Bobby), and Frederick; and Daniel (Karen) Levins and their daughter Emily; great uncle to Sadie, Lincoln, Lucas, Parker, and Chloe along with many extended family members and dear friends.

A visitation will be held at 10:00 AM on May 30, 2026, at St. Elizabeth of the Trinity in Chicago, followed by a funeral mass at 11:00 AM and a private family event afterwards.
