Robert Anichini passed away June 19, 2026. Beloved husband of Karen for 53 years. Loving father of Paul (Michelle) and Brian. Cherished grandfather of Joslyn and Alyson, and devoted cat dad to his beloved companion, Ozzie. Dear brother of Loretta “Cookie” (Cesare) and the late Joseph. Preceded in death by his parents, Mario F. and Mary Anichini.

A Memorial Visitation will be held at Malec & Sons Funeral Home, 6000 North Milwaukee Ave, Chicago, IL 60646, on July 2, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm followed by a prayer service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Shriners Children’s Chicago or the Kidney Transplant Program at University of Illinois Hospital & Clinics.
