Ronald N. Kopke, age 87, of Dublin, Ohio passed away peacefully on May 5, 2026 surrounded by his family. Ron was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend to all. After graduating from the Illinois Institute of Technology, Ron began his distinguished career at Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago as a Facility Manager for 30 years. He also served as a Trustee and Public Works Chairperson for the Village of Spring Grove in Illinois. A talented craftsman, he personally designed his dream home, creating a space that showcased his attention to detail and deep appreciation for quality workmanship. Ron is preceded in death by his parents, William and Adele Kopke, his son Gregory and daughter Jacqueline.He is survived by his loving wife , Kathleen; his brother Kenneth (Bonell); his sons Jeffrey (Jennifer) and Paul (Jennifer), grandchildren Cari, Steven, Thomas, Mitchell, Marissa, Hannah, and Kayla, great-grandchildren Riley, Zachary, Abigail and Quinten.
