Ruby passed into God’s arms on July 4, 2026 at the age of 98. She was born on July 27, 1927 in Chicago, IL, the cherished daughter of Albert and Marie née Leonard Bashara. Ruby was the former wife of the late David Stephens. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Norene (the late Robert) Borowski. She is survived by a niece, Pattie Marie (the late Donald) Corey, grand-nephew Moses and great grandnephew Zain and great grandniece Zoe, all of California. Ruby is also survived by many loving cousins and cherished friends. Visitation Wednesday, July 15, 2026 from 9:30am until time of mass at 10am at Queen of All Saints Basilica, 6280 N Sauganash, Chicago, IL 60646. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.
