Rudolph John Karall, age 102, of Chicago, IL. United State Marine Corps Veteran serving the Pacific Theatre during WWII. Passed away peacefully on June 15th. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy Caroline (nee Traynor).

Cherished father of David (Laurie), Frank, Leo Sr., Steve (Kim), and the late Robert Karall. Devoted grandfather of Leo Jr., Steven, Julianna (Bill) Meidell, Seth, and the late Jasper. He was loving Pop-Pop to his great-granddaughters Lily and Emma. Life-long parishioner at St. Alphonsus Parish of Chicago and a long-time member of the South Lakeview Neighbors Association. Rudy spent over 30 years teaching physical education at the elementary and junior-high levels in Morton Grove and Skokie. He also coached basketball, softball, track, and after-school programs which encouraged budding athletes to futures in sports. Memorial Visitation for Rudy will be held on Wednesday, July 1st, at Casey & Rios Funeral Home , 4540 W.
