Thomas W. Guardi, 78 of Riverside at rest July 13, 2026, devoted husband of Constance “Connie: nee Pearson; cherished father of Thomas (Ariella) Guardi; loving grandpa of Leonora and Francesca Guardi; beloved son of the late Gaetano and Katherine née Tatoole Guardi; dear brother to the late Vita Pennington and Stephan Guardi; fond uncle to many nieces and nephews and one grandnephew Tom was a retired accountant and Appeals Officer for the IRS. He was an active Board member of the Frederick Law Olmsted Society, having served as treasurer for three years and auditor of the books for many years. He was a valued member of the Landscape Committee helping to maintain the public lands to preserve the Olmsted legacy. He was awarded “Park Steward” status by the Riverside Landscape Advisory Commission. He was also awarded the title of “Honorary Commissioner “of the Riverside Historical Commission because of his many years of volunteering to help in the Museum to preserve the history of this landmark community. He loved gardening and spending time with his granddaughters. He took them to soccer practices, piano lessons and trips to museums and the Arboretum.
