Virginia O’Connell Moran OBITUARY

Margaret Virginia (nee O’Connell) Moran died peacefully in hospice in the company of family members on July 6, 2026. Born on Dec. 27, 1930, she was the daughter of the late CPD Sergeant John O’Connell and Margaret Burke O’Connell. Virginia is lovingly remembered by her three children, Matthew (Margaret), Erin, and Andrew; her five grandchildren, Colleen Condon, Shannon Condon (Kevin Corey), Carolyn Moran McIntyre (Mike), William and David Moran; and her four great-grandchildren, Fiona and Patrick Corey, and Elise and Cecilia McIntyre. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thomas, and her cherished daughter, Maura. Memorial services will be held at the Alexine Chapel at Nazareth Academy at 1515 W. Ogden in LaGrange Park, IL, with visitation at 9:30 a.m. and a Catholic funeral mass at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 16.
