Walter Morris Jr. of Gary, Indiana, peacefully passed away on June 20, 2026, at the age of 79. Born to Mattie Ruth and Wilbert Morris. Walter was known for his strong work ethic, quiet spirit and love for family. He retired from Inland Steel after 30 years of dedicated service. Walter will be deeply missed and forever remembered. Visitation Monday, June 29, 2026, from 9:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. with funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m. All services at the Guy & Allen Chapel 2959 W. 11th Ave., Gary, IN 46406. Pastor Corey Jackson officiating. Interment Oak Hill Cemetery.
