William R. Monaco of Oak Park, age 69. Beloved husband of Terri, nee Mueller; loving father of Courtney (John) Valleau and Patrick Monaco; proud grandfather of Brooke and Hailey; dear brother of Jane Monaco, Joseph Monaco, Robert (late Carol) Monaco and the late Thomas (Jane) Monaco; fond uncle of many. Bill was heavily involved in the community through his support and coaching of Oak Park Youth Sports (Football, Baseball and Softball), Windmills and Fenwick High School (Football and Softball). “Monz” had a long career as an Options Trader working with many great friends. He was an avid Chicago sports fan and loved adopting the college teams of those he loved. A Memorial Visitation will be held on Monday, June 22, 2026 at Ascension Church, 808 S. East Ave., Oak Park from 10:00 a.m. until time of the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Misericordia Home (www.misericordia.com) appreciated.
