Mass for Edward W. Doody, a Chicago firefighter for 30 years, will be said at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Christ the King Catholic Church, 9235 S. Hamilton Ave. Mr. Doody, who was retired, served with Chicago Fire Department Engine Co. 101 at 2236 W. 69th St. He died Friday in Palos Community Hospital, Palos Heights. Survivors include 2 sons, Lawrence and Edward Jr.; a daughter, Ann Marshall; 14 grandchildren; 7 brothers; and 3 sisters.
