So Iceland declares itself ”nuclear free!” How easy! Why didn`t France declare itself a Hitler-free zone in 1939; then it would never been overrun by Germany. Why didn`t all Europe declare itself a Napoleon-free zone in 1800 and thereby be free of any need to defend itself, instead of being occupied by Napoleon? Why didn`t the Roman empire declare itself a barbarian-free zone instead of having the Goths and Huns occupy it? Probably they just weren`t smart.
