Sundstrand Corp. said it will build an $18 million corporate headquarters in the Eastrock industrial park in Rockford. The new building is an expression of the firm`s commitment to Rockford, Sundstrand Chairman Evans Erikson said. During the coming year, he said, the company plans to add 400 people to its work force of 4,400 employees.
