27% SPENDING CUT AT MOBIL

Mobil Corp. will cut 1986 capital and exploration spending by 27 percent, to $3 billion from the original target of $4.1 billion. Mobil said about $925 million of its $1.1 billion cutback will be in the exploration and production sector.
