I cannot believe the snobbery of the two women who complained to the Village of Hinsdale because of the tradespeople buying lunches at Millar`s Foods. The traffic and children`s safety are supposedly their main concern. Isn`t it interesting though, that also stated was that these lunchers are

”pretty grubby . . . and I just know they don`t belong there.”

It sounds to me as if what these women are really saying to tradespeople is: It`s OK to paint my house or fix my plumbing but don`t mar the beauty of my affluent suburb by daring to socialize in it because you are not of the proper social class. I guess someone forgot to tell these tradespeople that the proper attire for lunching in Hinsdale is Ralph Lauren Polo shirts and Topsider shoes!
