Methode Electronics Inc. posted record earnings and sales in its fiscal fourth quarter and full year that ended April 30, paced by results from its military, aerospace and transportation segments. In the quarter, the Chicago firm`s net income rose 29 percent from a year earlier, to $1.8 million, or 17 cents a share, and sales rose 13 percent, to $26.1 million. Full-year profits rose 15 percent, to $5.9 million, or 56 cents a share, and sales advanced 16 percent, to $96 million.
