It was good to read about the Supreme Court`s ruling against the student who used vulgar language in a campaign speech.

Also heartening was Chief Justice Warren Burger`s majority opinion that part of the function of public schools is ”teaching students the boundaries of socially appropriate behavior.”

If this is true, then how can anyone justify the school-based ”health clinics” which are freely handing out contraceptives to the students?

Or has premarital sex become such ”socially appropriate behavior” that must be fostered (and funded) in the schools?

I hope someone soon puts that question to the Supreme Court.
