Regarding Commonwealth Edison. Two months ago my electric bill was $20 and some cents.

One month ago my electric bill was $30 and some cents.

October 3, I received my bill from Com Ed. It was $40.25.

If I ever get introduced to one of those so-called state commissioners, who give their consent to these official stick-ups, I promise I`ll kick his teeth out.

We are only two people in this household; we live frugally–no air-conditioning.

It should not be difficult for any gubernatorial candidate to find the most effective ”cause” to elect a winner by just promising to expropriate Com Ed. I don`t care whether the candidate is Thompson, Adlai or black or white or yellow–I`d vote for him.
