Bob Greene`s column on ”Flying past the right stuff” was interesting, but one sided.

First officer Ann Singer`s optimism towards her profession can only be shared by a small segment of the aviation community. As a minority female pilot, I can attest to the fact that there is a flip side to this coin. A quick trip through Chicago`s O`Hare Airport reaffirms the small number of black pilots flying for the major airlines.

Sorry, Mr. Greene, the skies aren`t as friendly as you think!
