Treasury Secretary James Baker said he sees signs that the U.S. economy has been accelerating in recent weeks. ”There is every prospect that the current expansion will continue unabated through 1987 and the years beyond,” Baker said in Washington. He repeated the administration`s forecast for 3.25 percent economic growth in 1987.
