Services for Charlie H. Jones, 90, a retired U.S. Postal Service worker who delivered mail in the Loop for many years, will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday in Monumental Baptist Church, 729 E. Oakwood Blvd. Mr. Jones, of the South Side, died Wednesday at home. He was president emeritus of the United Church Ushers League of Illinois, an organization he helped found in 1936. He also was a leading member of the National Church Ushers League. Survivors include three sons, James, Samuel and Nathaniel; two daughters, Doris Anderson and Charlene; and a brother.
