As a Sri Lanka-born American, it is with mixed feelings that I watch a foreign army (India) march across Sri Lankan territory inflicting casualties on Sri Lankans.
The Tamil Tiger terrorist group was created by India to control and oppose Sri Lanka`s pro-American foreign policy and free-market economic system.
This drug smuggling terrorist organization has grown into a monster that has now turned on its sponsor and protector. Thus, I applaud India`s action in trying to subjugate the terrorists, so that the Tamil people can have an autonomous region in the north. Then all ethnic groups can co-exist peacefully again in Sri Lanka.
