Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Mike Ditka was recently on a sports talk radio show. He was lavishly heaping praise on the head coaches of this years Super Bowl teams for doing so much with so little talent. My question is: ”What does Coach Ditka deserve for doing so little with so much?” I think a little ”hardball” is in order! He should be fired!

Chicago sports franchises have historically hired ”tough guys” as head coaches and general managers with little or no success. Coach Ditka`s divisive behavior has hurt the Bears. First it was questioning Jim McMahon`s injury. Then it was taking a position during the players strike that not only destroyed the team, but humbled a once-proud union town!

Let`s get a head coach who doesn`t run to the media crying about his players or their wives! How about a coach who has a system that the players believe in and are excited about? How about a positive role model for the children of this city instead of a cursing, spitting egomaniac.
