Carol Stream`s combined Plan Commission and Zoning Board of Appeals Tuesday approved the plans of three developers to build a townhouse complex and single-family housing on both the village`s north and south sides.
Final approval by the Village Board could come as early as next Tuesday.
The townhouse project includes 52 units to be built near Kuhn and Army Trail Roads.
The single-family housing projects include 132 homes to be built near Fair Oaks and Lies roads on the suburb`s north side and 58 homes near Geneva Road and Gary Avenue on the south side.
