Some years ago there was an extremely amusing movie called ”Being There” which starred Peter Sellers as a totally innocent and reclusive gardener to a wealthy household, who spent all of his spare time in front of the TV. Then, through a bizarre series of events, he went from being Chauncey the gardener to Chauncey Gardener-an adviser to political bigwigs, including the president of the U.S.
The funny thing is how much sense his simplistic style of wisdom truly made. A real Chauncey Gardener-type of adviser might not be so bad to have around in political circles today.
