The darlings of the Winter Olympics, Katarina Witt and Debi Thomas (shown here), will take to the ice one more time-probably for their last appearance together-Saturday, when the `88 Tour of Olympic and World Figure Skating Champions hits Chicago Stadium. Rounding out the women`s program will be Canada`s pixie Elizabeth Manley and Americans Caryn Kadavy and Jill Trenary. U.S. gold medalist Brian Boitano will headline the men`s roster. He will be joined by his Canadian rival, Brian Orser; Alexander Fadeev and Vladimir Kotin of the U.S.S.R.; and fellow Americans Christopher Bowman and Paul Wylie. In addition to the individual stars, Saturday`s show will feature pair skaters and ice dancers. The skaters will do much of their Olympic routines, but Don Murphy of the Stadium tells us, ”With the pressure of the Olympics and the world championships off, the skaters will do innovations they couldn`t or wouldn`t do before.” Unfortunately for those of you making last-minute weekend plans, the show is completely sold out and has been for about two months.
