An on-site sales center has opened at Timber Oaks at the Fox in west suburban North Aurora. The development by Wiseman-Hughes Enterprises Inc., is planned for 135 single-family houses priced from $107,900 to $126,900.
”We have just moved our sales information center on-site and since opening, have taken 11 reservations,” said James P. Hughes Jr., partner and director of marketing for Wiseman-Hughes.
Hughes said that the Fox River Valley area is one of the major growth areas in Chicago.
”The village of North Aurora is the western anchor of the East-West high-tech corridor, which, to the homeowner, means job opportunities, numerous shopping, dining and other entertainment facilities, as well as easy access to major routes of transportation,” he said.
Four designs at the Timbers are highlighted by volume ceilings and alternate exterior elevations.
The Ashton I is a ranch with three bedrooms, two baths and 1,450 square feet. Offering 1,620 square feet, the Birch II is a split-level with three bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths. The Cedar III, a two-story, three-bedroom plan, features 2 1/2 baths and 1,770 square feet. The Oakton IV is a two-story with four bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths and 2,100 square feet.
All kitchens include furniture-quality cabinets, double range with hood and fan, double-bowl stainless steel sink, dishwasher, disposer and decorator counter tops.
The sales center is on Oak Street, one-quarter mile west of Ill. Hwy. 31.
