Office vacancy rates in downtown Chicago held steady during the second quarter at 11.3 percent, according to a report by Coldwell Banker Commercial Real Estate Services. Large blocks of office space are limited in number, a fact that was largely responsible for an unusually high number of tenant renewals during the period, the report said.
